Rachel Lando is a teacher of yoga, movement, and anatomy. She is the founder of Patient Care Movement, co-founder of Mindful. Summit County, and hosts Anatomy and Physiology for Improved Fitness, CE workshops for yoga professionals, movement enthusiasts, and the chronic illness community.

 

Rachel felt called to yoga and mindfulness following her diagnosis in 2012 with scleroderma, a rare autoimmune condition. She has since eased into a personal movement and meditation practice, certified as an E-RYT200, and pursued advanced education in mat + reformer pilates, Yoga Tune Up®, Roll Model Method®, Breath and Bliss, biomechanics, trauma-sensitive yoga, and mindfulness.  She lives in Park City, UT, where she enjoys teaching weekly classes, being outdoors and spending time with her husband, her 7-year-old daughter, and her dog Jet.
